Atty. Ma. Cristina M. Briones is a member of the Philippine Bar with extensive experience in litigation, public service, and government legal practice. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from Saint Louis University School of Law in Baguio City and completed her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the same university.

Before joining the Firm, she served as a Public Attorney I at the Public Attorney’s Office (PAO), where she represented indigent clients in civil, criminal, labor, and administrative cases. Her work involved appearing before various courts and quasi-judicial bodies, preparing pleadings and legal opinions, providing legal counsel, conducting client interviews, and participating in community legal outreach programs. Her experience has given her significant exposure to courtroom advocacy and client representation across a wide range of legal matters.

Prior to her service at PAO, Atty. Briones worked as Attorney II and Officer-in-Charge of the Chief Personnel Adjudication Section of the Bureau of Internal Revenue, Revenue Region No. 4. In this capacity, she handled tax-related litigation and enforcement, rendered legal opinions, prepared demand letters and legal processes, managed delinquent tax cases, and assisted in the prosecution of criminal actions involving violations of tax laws.

Her years in government service have equipped her with a strong foundation in litigation, legal research, advocacy, administrative law, labor law, taxation, and dispute resolution. She is committed to providing responsive, practical, and client-focused legal representation while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
